The March Membership Update will include an advocacy report from Legislative Chair Rob Lattin, DAHCC updates, and a FREE webinar from SAGECare on Home Care for LGBTQ+ older adults. Case studies and videos of real individuals will help participants understand why some LGBTQ+ older adults may choose not to come out and may have difficulty inviting care providers into their home. Participants will receive information regarding best practices to provide services in an inclusive way and create a welcoming environment for members of the LGBTQ+ community.
